The designer is Michael Lau, a chinese pop designer well known for his toy designs as well as illustrations. It's said that Lau was the founder of the urban vinyl style within the designer toy movement. He's heavily influenced by Asian street culture as well as graffiti designs.
Apparently.... this is his first clothing collection... Which, seems to be executed very nicely.... if not a little scary.. haha.
When I saw it I couldn't help but think of the Jabawockeez from Season 1 of America's Best Dance Crew...
hmmm....... maybe if they were girls...... and more fashion forward?
