Hallucination Nation

Although the title may have a funny ring to it the inspiration behind Yayoi Kusama's dotted artwork is not. She was born during the twenties in Japan. The pysical abuse she endured at the hands of her mother caused her to suffer hallucinations in which she would see spots. Her artwork is based on those spots and it's pretty darn amazing.
